19.30 - Road Closure
West End Road, Frampton is closed outside Frampton House Care Home between Bannister Lane and London Road due to a fallen tree.
Officers from Lincolnshire Police are on scene.
17.45 - Environment Agency Statement
A spokesperson for the Environment Agency said: “Steady and persistent rain has been falling across Lincolnshire since Thursday evening, and further heavier rain is forecast into Saturday.
“We currently have flood alerts in place and are likely to issue more today and over the weekend with possible flood warnings.
“We continue to monitor catchment conditions and river levels and operate our assets to reduce the risk to communities.”
Across the country, Environment Agency officers are working round the clock checking flood defences, clearing debris and erecting temporary barriers.

14.30 - Road Closure, Algakirk
Eleys Lane in Algakirk has been closed this afternoon after flooding and a fallen tree made the route unsafe for motorists.
Lincolnshire County Council’s highways team are currently on scene managing the closure and assessing the extent of the damage. The road remains impassable, with water levels reported to be rising following persistent heavy rain linked to Storm Claudia.
Drivers are being urged to avoid the area and use alternative routes where possible. It’s not yet clear when the road will reopen, and further updates are expected once the tree has been removed and the flooding has subsided.

The Met Office has extended its Amber weather warning to now include Boston from 12pm on Friday, as Storm Claudia is expected to bring heavy and persistent rain across the area.
The upgraded alert means Boston is now at higher risk of flooding, travel disruption and potential power cuts, with rainfall intensifying through Friday afternoon and evening.
Forecasters say the storm could bring 40–60mm of rain widely, with isolated areas seeing up to 80mm, alongside strong easterly winds and the possibility of thunderstorms later in the day.
Residents are advised to take extra care, avoid unnecessary travel, and never attempt to drive through floodwater. Anyone affected by fast-flowing or deep water should call 999.
