A much-loved local pub is getting a brand new lease of life as The Castle at Haltoft End has officially been taken over by new management.
Owned by Batemans Brewery of Wainfleet, the popular venue has been leased to Samantha Porter, owner of SJP Catering, who brings with her years of experience and a passion for quality food and hospitality.
The Castle is currently undergoing extensive refurbishment both inside and out, with work still ongoing, but excitement is already building ahead of the pub’s grand opening on 25th July. Food service will officially begin from Saturday 26th July.
Speaking about her plans for the venue, Samantha said: “I’m absolutely thrilled to be taking on The Castle. This is a beautiful pub with huge potential, and we’re aiming to create something really special here. Expect good, homemade food, fun theme nights, cocktails, live bands, barista coffee and homemade cakes. We’re incredibly lucky to have such a large garden, so we’re planning for the pub to be really family-friendly too.”
Future plans include launching Airbnb accommodation, giving visitors the chance to enjoy a countryside escape with everything on their doorstep.
With community at its heart and a renewed focus on quality, The Castle is aiming to become a go-to spot for locals and visitors alike.
