Motorists travelling along the A17 are experiencing delays this afternoon following a road traffic collision between Swineshead Bridge and the Bicker Bar roundabout.
A vehicle is reported to have left the carriageway and come to rest in a grass dyke at the side of the road.
Emergency services, including Lincolnshire Police and East Midlands Ambulance Service, are currently on the scene dealing with the incident.
Traffic maps show significant congestion in the area, with queues building in both directions and heavy traffic diverting through Swineshead village as drivers seek alternative routes.
Drivers are advised to approach with caution and allow extra time for their journeys while the incident is being cleared. At this stage, it is not known how severe injuries are.
