A crew from Boston Fire Station was called out late last night to tackle a fire on Broadfield Lane.
At 10:36pm, Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue responded to reports of a fire in the open. On arrival, firefighters found a wheelie bin well alight, with the flames having spread to a nearby wooden fence panel.
The incident caused severe damage to the bin and its contents, as well as 50% fire damage to one section of the wooden fencing.
Crews used one hose reel to bring the blaze under control and extinguish the flames.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire has not yet been confirmed.
