Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue attended two separate building fires on Tuesday around Boston, both resulting in significant damage.

Saundergate Lane East, Boston

Two fire crews from Boston Fire Station responded to reports of a domestic building fire on Saundergate Lane East. A fire officer was also in attendance.

Crews used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel, and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the blaze.

Approximately 50% of the property’s roof was severely damaged. The cause of the fire is yet to be determined and remains under investigation.

Eleven Acre Lane, Kirton

At 11:36am, fire crews from Kirton, Leverton, and Spalding Fire Stations were called to a separate building fire on Eleven Acre Lane, Kirton.

The incident involved severe fire damage to approximately 50% of a wooden lean-to, with additional light fire damage to one vehicle and an adjoining shed.

Firefighters swiftly brought the fire under control and prevented further spread.

Investigations into both incidents are ongoing.
