Firefighters from Boston, Kirton and Leverton were called into action in the early hours of this morning after a large blaze broke out at a property on Norfolk Place.

Emergency services were alerted around 2am, with crews arriving to find part of the property well alight. Six firefighters wearing breathing apparatus tackled the flames using three hose reel jets and small tools, while six thermal imaging cameras were deployed to identify and eliminate hidden hotspots.

A dramatic video shared by a nearby resident shows flames engulfing part of the building, as thick smoke billowed into the night sky. Several neighbours can be seen standing in the street, watching the emergency response unfold.

Crews worked quickly to bring the fire under control and prevent it from spreading further. A fire investigation was carried out throughout the night, into early morning, however a cause has unable to be determined.  No information has been released about any injuries or evacuations.
