Multiple appliances from Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue, including the Aerial Ladder Platform, officers from Lincolnshire Police and East Midlands Ambulance Service have attended London Road, Boston twice in 24 hours for two separate incidents.
Lincolnshire Police closed High Street / London Road between the junctions of Oxford Street and Haven Village around 1am on the morning of Wednesday 9th April 2025.
A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said: “There was an incident which crews from Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue were attending in response to help a woman who had fallen from a boat in Boston, and East Midlands Ambulance Service had also been called. Officers on patrol in the town centre came across the incident and stopped to check if they could offer any assistance, and while there they dealt with a further concern for safety relating to a man.
London Road was closed while this incident was responded to, and it was resolved without issue by just after 6am on Wednesday morning. The woman received treatment at the scene and was taken to hospital.”
3 fire appliances, 3 fire cars, 3 police cars and 2 ambulances were then later spotted at the same location around 9.30pm on Wednesday night.
The spokesperson further commented: “There was a separate incident of 392 of 9 April, which was received at 9.12pm, which was a concern for welfare, and this incident was resolved with no issues.”

Police officers, fire crews and paramedics were seen around the Harvest Energy Petrol Station on London Road around 10pm last night following reports of a concern for welfare.
