A family in Boston is appealing for help after their beloved golden Labrador, Belle, was stolen on Thursday. The dog was first reported missing by her owner, Sammi-Jo Dent, in a Facebook post, asking for information regarding her whereabouts in the Tesco and B&Q area.
CCTV footage from McDonald’s shows a woman with blonde hair picking up Belle in a red car. The woman claimed she was taking Belle to the vets, but the dog has not been returned, and the family is concerned for her safety.
The theft has been reported to Lincolnshire Police, and the incident number is 114 of 18/10/2024. The family is urging anyone with information about Belle’s location or who may have seen the suspect or vehicle to come forward.
Sammi-Jo Dent, Belle’s owner said: “Our family is heartbroken and devastated by the theft of our beloved Belle. She is not just a dog, she is a part of our family, and my kids are absolutely beside themselves. They just want her home, safe and sound.
We are pleading with anyone who has seen Belle or knows where she might be to please come forward. Belle is a gentle, loving dog, and we miss her so much. We just want her back where she belongs, with her family. If you have any information, please help us bring Belle home.”
Belle’s family is desperate to be reunited with her and asks the public to share any possible leads with Lincolnshire Police or via social media.
