On Friday evening, Fire crews were called to Boston’s Central Park to a blaze within a private area of the public area.

Upon arrival, crews faced a fire within the secured Council operated storage area.

We were called to reports of stones being thrown at the Parkside Doctors Surgery in Boston at 10.12pm on Friday 23 July. The report came in from local fire and rescue crews which were responding to an unrelated incident nearby. If anyone was in the area and witnesses the incident, or has CCTV or dashcam footage, we would encourage them to come forward quoting incident number 557 of 23 July.

We are aware that the fire in Central Park on 23/07/21 is being treated as arson and will now be investigated by Lincolnshire Police. We will of course assist them with their investigation in any way we can.
