On Friday evening, Fire crews were called to Boston’s Central Park to a blaze within a private area of the public area.
Upon arrival, crews faced a fire within the secured Council operated storage area.
A post on the service’s Twitter account read:
20:06 – @BostonLFR crews are in attendance at a fire in Central Park, Boston. Crews currently using Cobra, hose reels and breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire. Local residents are advised to keep doors and windows closed.

20:06 – @BostonLFR attended a fire on Park Gate, Boston. Severe fire damage to 50% of storage shipping container and contents. 2 hose reels, Breathing Apparatus and Thermal Imaging Cameras used to extinguish.

We were called to reports of stones being thrown at the Parkside Doctors Surgery in Boston at 10.12pm on Friday 23 July. The report came in from local fire and rescue crews which were responding to an unrelated incident nearby.
