Boston United have completed the signing of striker Jake Wright.
The 24-year-old, who will wear squad number 24 for the Pilgrims, has agreed to return to the club after regaining full fitness, having suffered a serious hamstring injury in last season’s promotion final against Altrincham on August 1.
Wright has worked extensively with United’s head of medical Hayden Clifton over recent weeks and is now ready for selection ahead of Saturday’s National League North trip to Alfreton Town.
I am delighted to be able to sign Jake again.
I think it's clear to see that when Jake is fit and playing games, he is a top striker at this level.
He has worked extremely hard with Hayden to recover from a severe hamstring injury and get himself fit.
Jake has had a lot of bad luck with injuries and I really hope he now has a bit of good luck and an injury-free season with us.Craig ElliottBoston United Manager
