The “king” of fish and chips in Boston has returned to his native home!

Sezgin Cilek, known locally as Sam, has returned to the award winning Tates Fish and Chip Restaurant after a short break earlier in the year. 

Locals will recognise Sezgin from the opening of Sam’s Traditional Fish and Chip Restaurant earlier in the year. 

After personal circumstances, Sezgin has to leave his new venture to focus on his family, but recently returned to Tates, leading the famous traditional restaurant to further successes and build on their established reputation. 

Sezgin said: “I’m delighted to return to Tates, serving the tastiest fish and chips in town. We’ve made some fantastic and exciting changes recently, including the introduction of a gluten-free menu, and recently gained a premises license enabling us to serve alcohol with patrons meals.”
